Nola N’Guessan

“Through curation, I want to create space for underrepresented voices and more inclusive futures”.

Nola N’Guessan is a Brussels-based curator with a strong background in collective organising and an emerging solo practice. With several years of experience programming music and cultural events, her curatorial work is rooted in the values of community, care, and experimentation, with a sustained focus on inclusivity and structural change.

Nola has curated across a variety of formats—including club nights, live performances, talks, and hybrid events—at leading venues such as Beursschouwburg and Ancienne Belgique. She is the force behind landmark events like ECHO TREE, a multidisciplinary platform for emerging voices; Outrageous Without Warning, which highlights femme and queer artists pushing sonic and social boundaries; and Out Loud x Fatsabbats, a summer series merging dance, identity, and community in public space.

A long-time member of collectives such as Fatsabbats and Café Congo, she is now focused on building her individual curatorial trajectory. Her work supports emerging electronic artists and explores how sound can be a tool for visibility, resistance, and transformation. Through curation, Nola seeks to open spaces for new narratives, alternative futures, and lasting cultural change.
