Pipas grew up rocked by salsa on party nights and guided by reggaeton bass lines in the mountains when walking home from the neighboring village.
In 2022, in a squat in Villeurbanne, they moved to the other side of the turntables, encouraged by their friends, and the multiplicity of their lives enriches their sets, which mainly combine neoperreo, dembow, and Latin club. Waiter at @ritaplage69 by day, DJ by night, translator for @milgrana.editions in between, the intention remains the same: to cultivate spaces for encounter, transformation, and collective liberation, to highlight the work of underrepresented communities, and to defend their voices and rhythms.
Hope is a discipline, and Pipas fosters it from morning to night by sharing her outrageous joy, at 1312 BPM, to make bodies and hearts vibrate in unison.
