Laura Pacas (San Salvador, El Salvador, 1989) is an actress, director, and performance maker. Her work explores art as a tool for encounter, memory, and social transformation. She has developed creative processes with communities and collectives in vulnerable situations, especially in contexts related to migration, women, and the LGBTQ+ community. Her practice exists at the intersection of theatre, performance, and pedagogy, generating spaces where the personal and the collective engage in dialogue through the body and memory. She has participated in theatrical projects in Spain, Lisbon, and El Salvador, and has collaborated with institutions and collectives such as the Museo Reina Sofía, the Sandretto Foundation, the Mexican company Lagartijas Tiradas al Sol, and Teatro del Barrio.
