TRIXYTRICKS (Madrid) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice lies at the intersection of experimental club music, vocal performance and community building. Her approach to DJing is rooted in ‘deconstructed club’, a genre of electronic music that fragments the rhythms of traditional club music to create more open and experimental structures. Her sets feature broken beats, deep basslines and a constant blend of pop references and more abstract sounds. As the founder of DAY & N1GHTN01SE and co-founder of INSULTO Club, she has championed key venues for Madrid’s digital and queer scenes. She sees the dancefloor as a meeting place where music can challenge hierarchies and foster new forms of community.
