TMLAB at S, Le Sucre’s Festival: Meeting with Temple Rat

On Saturday 13rd December, TMLAB tool part in S, Le Sucre Lyon-based Festival, organised by our partner Arty Farty, for a Sonic Round Table. During the first edition of the festival, they hosted a conversation together with producer and DJ Temple Rat, originally from Shanghai. Now based in Berlin, she blends traditional folk music with contemporary electronic music productions in her mixes. Through her various projects, she also works to build bridges and promote cultural collaboration, such as through her residency on Chinese radio station Baihui Radio and her band Er Ting Ba Fang 耳聽八方. As part of her appearance at S, the Sucre festival, the artist will look back on her career, her artistic influences, and the links between the European and Chinese scenes, as well as the challenges of representing Chinese artists within the European electronic music circuit.
