Cruhda is Paula Gómez de Caso, an artist with an Iberian and ancient soul, who pays constant attention to the sounds of her present.
A handful of salt
If I could sail in a little boat through the soundscape that stirs my soul, I think the journey would be something like this. I’d take you to the unspoilt white-sand beach where I heard a Greek man playing the sitar. Sometimes we’d have to drop anchor in the sea and dive through rocky, dark passages. We’d be a little scared, but we certainly wouldn’t go hungry. We’d share bread, wine and salt, with stops along the way to admire the stars. At other times we’d find ourselves caught in a storm, until we reached the cliffs. We’d listen to our cousins, the sirens, singing. I’m sure it would be worth it, because in those places where they live, wild plants grow that hold ancient wisdom. And, on the nights when there’s dancing… we dance for the moon
